Hi Suzanne,
Thank you for your supportive post on my diary. It really is appreciated. It is great to read how well you are doing. I hope that you have a great weekend. Take care.

Morning Suzanne.
292 days and still winning on a daily basis. This is the longest winning streak you will ever have. And as long as you stay 39 days firmly behind me you will always be a winner and kick this addiction where it hurts.
Have a great Saturday.
Luv Steve xxx
Good morning diary,
Lol Steve have every intention of staying 39 days behind you,
292 days of winning because I am in recovery, and gambling will not get even one single penny off me today, my choice made
Abstaining and maintaining one day at a time and enjoying recovery and the addiction hates that.
Chilling out day with OH, just doing what we want to do, that doesn't happen often so it's a good warm feeling, this is another gift recovery has given me, and it has not cost one single penny,
Wishing everyone a strong warm and positive gambling free day.
Suzanne xx
Enjoy your chill out day and massive well done on 292 days - big 300 milestone next week, how exciting.
Clare xx
Thanks for the support . Enjoy your chilled day. That is the one thing i enjoy most about being gamble free as being in the clutches of that addiction never gives you the opportunity to just chill. Have a great weekend
Hi Suzanne
happy valentines day to you and your OH, no flowers for Mrs ginge today, because she's a florist and working 10 hours today making bouquets for all those lovers, imagine if i came home tonight with a bunch....she'd wrap em round my neck...have a great weekend of winning by abstaining...onwards and upwards Ginger x
Hi suzanne sorry I'm late replying to you but I'm in middle of opening my cards, lol...yeah you're right about it being commercial, Christmas is the same, the idea of a Christmas card was that you sent it to someone one year and they sent it back to you the next and you did that evey year with the same card, blimey if you did that today they'd call you a right cheapskate...right back to these cards ..........mmmmm this ones a mystery it's got a Leeds postmark......have a lovely day...onwards and upwards Ginger x
Hi Suzanne, welcome to Valentine's Day 2015, a day for winners 🙂 I will be spending money today...NM's treated me to a £1.99 meal voucher courtesy of a parking ticket (not a fine) yesterday so we're off out when he gets home 😉
Have a lovely chilled out day but straight back to the cleaning in the morning 😉

Hey Suze, I wasn't even joking, it's the best Valentine's ever...I'm too fussy for a box of chocolates (unless it's a red box of Lindor) & flowers just make a mess of the vase!
90 minutes for the hair cut ain't bad...It took us that long to bath the mutt the other day! We were putting it off & putting it off til the NM came home from the woods with what appeared to be the wrong dog! Into the bath you must go my four legged friend! It wasn't easy figuring out how to fit the 2 of us between the shower screen & the wall whilst still making use of all the taps as the mutt stood giving us evils! I probably won't wear white again as its not just the bathroom that has a new brown decor! The little brown dog we had put in the bath was now black again & NM was using the pet/motor bike drier (I kid you not) when all of a sudden the mutt made a bid for freedom! He leapt clean out of the bath, over the NM's head & smashed into the ground before limping off...£50 @ the vet & lead walks only for the foreseeable 🙁 You try telling that to a dog that has about 90 minutes a day, with a ball & still won't lay down! Next time, I'll be clipping him to the taps, hope he doesn't strangle himself :-0
I've heard about those flight things (yawn) sound as interesting as the auto play I used to do (yawn) - what was I thinking?!?
No, no, no, no, no - ODAAT
Laugh like there's no tomorrow for not many people know the value of doing nothing! Don't waste another tear on the addiction (surely you learned not to cry over spilt milk) it has taken enough & that is your past! Your past has taught you how valuable your future is...Today, is your future 🙂
Well done Suzanne on 292 days. Enjoy your quiet day with OH,
Take care my friend

Thanks for the advice, I know you are right but it doesn't stop it hurting! I hope I never get used to this type of sadness though as it keeps me strong & shows me that I care - not something I am all that used to feeling!
I hope OH landed in Barbados safely & you are having a lovely evening on the beach with the sand between your toes (we can dream) rather than being a rugby widow as it appears I am @ the mo!
