Life begins again

Hi Suzanne I loved the fact I was not far behind you in my recovery
and now i I have let it slip.never mind I will continue to stay gamble free just like today and try and use that horrific slip to my advantage.but If i didnt try I would never know,and now I do know that the importance of that 1st bet is crucial in my recovery.sorry to let you guys down who have walked with and supported me all the way.years ago I wouldn't have came back here to report that I had gambled but this time I really

Good morning diary,

299 days today of winning without spending even one single penny on any form of gambling. and that feels good,

Staying strong and positive taking one day at a time abstaining and maintaining, My gambling days seem far away now even though I get stupid thoughts at times to just put a stupid tenner on. Don't know why I get them as I have no interest whatsoever in playing, my recovery journey is far too strong now.

I do not want to play because I know I won't/can't stop, and I would be stupid to want to stop WINNING in every way.

Wishing everyone a strong, positive and happy gambling free Saturday.

Just came home with some raw hide shoes for the mutt...He went so demented, he ran through his entire repertoire of tricks before he realised all I'd asked him to do was sit! He's now sat @ my feet as I sit on the steps to post & I think I may finally have been forgiven for the bath saga 🙂

Turned out so nice today I'm in my wellies & gardening gloves about to pull up anything in the garden that's not green or prickly...Hopefully get some weeds in there among it all 😉

...:-) it is what it is hun..gotta fight with all i have.
