494 days,

Day off and LM here and another viewing this afternoon.

Am feeling a bit negative about these viewings now, but they have to be done to be able to,sell the house lol.

Patience is something I am still working hard on HDs

Choice today abstaining and maintaining of course, and that is a big positive for me today.

Hey Suzanne
You may have already done this but just a suggestion. Have you ever told your son the exact places your addiction took you. I think i remember reading that he knew you had issues but have you shared with him the whole truth of the things you did. Perhaps if he found some identification with you around both of your gambling histories he may be more willing to open up to you. I have found that allowing myself to be vulnerable with others usually allows them to be the same with me. There maybe some angers & resentments your both ignoring around each others addiction that needs resolution.

Good morning diary,

495 today.

Could not believe the couple that came round yesterday afternoon, they bought their grown up daughter with them and her two toddlers, who immediately found LMs toys (that I had hastily thrown in the cupboard) and started to throw them at my poor little Yorkie, my LM was lying on the settee bring all shy lol, and did not utter a word about his toys.

After they left, (and they were time wasters in more ways than one :)) oh. LM said to me quite concerningly and innocently was that the nasty man you spoke to on the phone, I said in utter surprise what nasty man, I would never let a nasty man, into our house, his reply really surprised me, I heard you on the phone Nanny, talking to a nasty man, (this was yet another call from scammers trying to sell me something) don't they look at my credit score first lol, anyway he heard me say something quite rude before I hung up, and asked me who it was and I replied just a nasty man trying to scam me, I didn't realise that when these people came round he would even think that the male of the group was that nasty man, 0:((((( no wonder he acted shy, didn't take one minute to reassure him, but it just goes to show, what little ones take in and absorb. I am so grateful and relieved he was too young,

when I was gambling in his company 24/7 else jeez knows what he would be coming out with now and absorbing,another big big positive for me to slowly but surely carry on abstaining and maintaining, one day at a time of course:))) HDs

499 days (OMFG lol as Sreve said) those 99 balloons are going to fly by high today,

Gambling can stay at the bottom of the sea, I am enjoying the calm still waters too much at this time, just sailing along nicely and quietly, (not even stressing and being impatient about no sale on the house yet ) is going to make me feel like I want to escape,in to gambling. I believe I am turning another positive corner at this time, HDs indeed.
