Day 16 today and it was first day I got my wages since giving up and I can honestly say it felt so good to pay the bills and then still have money spare, my accounts in a positive state for a change. I don't even fill like gambling it, these last two weeks have been so much more relaxing apart from the man flu I have, no worrying about where I'll get my next pound from to bet with, life is better without the constant worry,

Just read through your diary and wanted to say congratulations on how well you are ploughing into your recovery. You are sounding really positive. I find it really helps to read other people's posts when I feel close to a wobble. You have helped me tonight. Feel free to stop by my diary any time you need someone to return the favour. Take care.

Had a few urges last couple of days but they didn't last long, lost 6 pound this week, not to worry though as it's in weight haha, only weigh 14 stone 8 but when I was an amatuer boxer I weighed 13.4 so trying to get back down to that, so far so good, treated myself to a few new clothes today which I haven't done for a while, feels good to have control at the moment and enjoy my money rather than blow it on betting, onwards and upwards
