Hi wp, reading diaries before work at 4.45am, you truly are committed! I started off being angry as I felt that I had put so much effort into changing for the better. As the call progressed I realized that I had created this problem and that my actions had made her feel that way. It's pretty upsetting to think that I have spoiled what was once a real loving and trusting relationship. It's a reality check to me to say that this is only the start and there's a long way to go. Thanks for your support. Russ

Shame about getting the day wrong wp,hopefully you will be able get the time off next week,still on the positive front you've only had to do a short shift today!!!,Hope all is going well with the family at present,things definately appear to be improving all the time for you now!!!.Have a good weekend pal.Speak soon.

Thanks russ seano lili and curly.....strange day today...by not going to hosp the ex planned a trip to the cinema for toy story 3 but the bairn fell asleep so they didn't make it....I did nae think I was invited so I've sat in flat all day until I rang and found this out about half 6...I could've been round even at half 6 anyways gets a text tonight wondering why I didn't go round? ?? Communication obviously not the strong point here..onwards my friends tomorrows another day today I didn't bet tomorrow I won't bet we can do this. 🙂

no not crawling between pubs and not on the hunt for duplicate dogs!! got stuck on the snail train to lindylworld!(your not a driver are you??) and not been home long!!

i didnt know i would have tp pick up the dog doings!! i thought i could let them do that in the garden before i take them for a walk lol that wat poor gardener gets to scoop whilst i just do my stretch armstrong impression!! hope all is going well for you??

that sounds really frustrating. It seems to be happening a lot. I admire you, because I get wound up so easily by things like that. Its funny because getting angry only makes things worse, but I find it really hard to bite my tongue.

Hope you have a good weekend, and the lines of communication get a bit better. Sometimes when people decide that you are a certain way, they almost get nervous when you are not acting that way anymore. So they push, and they push, and if they get a result and get you to go back to your old ways - well they win on all fronts. They get to be 'right all along' about you, they know what to expect from you once again, and they get to be the 'good guy' while you get lumbered with the bad guy tag. Your ex sounds like she is playing this game, so dont rise to it mate!

She may not believe in you - but WE DO! and as you say every post you write WE CAN DO THIS!

Thanks lindy freda rayg 🙂 and evanru.....yes lindy you've got me down to a t....rayg look forward to your diary..I'm sure you'll get loads support once you've started up...you do have the unfair advantage at present of knowing everyone elses business but nobody knows yours so I don't think its right you being a smart a r s e and commenting on my diary or any other for that matter but like you say its an open forum so good luck to you... you obviously have gambling issues or would nae be on here Wasting your own time so accept my apologies if you may.....one thing your defo right about is you don't have to justify yourself to me nor do I have to justify myself to you or any other total stranger on the diaries....russ the post refers to something I posted on the overcoming prob gamblers page that has seen a lot of interest lately...from now on folks its time to concentrate on me....I have no gambling thoughts or urges at present and have had the most enjoyable evening tonight......out round a country park feeding the ducks with the kids then down to the seaside for fish and chips (a treat from the ex..told you no 2 days are the same) and a stroll along the sand.....fresh air and a night out for free...beat that,today I didn't bet tomorrow I won't bet....good luck everyone. 🙂

Ray if I were you I would remove this last post of yours to do yourself a favour. As you say you have not read wp's diary and quite frankly mate before you post like that you really should do. There is nobody on this site, more than winningpost, who wants newcomers to do well. This guy is going through some real c**P in his life at the moment and does not need the comments that you have made. I see they were made at a late hour on a Saturday night and am prepared to accept that in the light of day you would not wish to make them. Please edit your post accordingly and I will do the same.

Well that's me firmly put in my place.....yesterday I made a cheeky tongue-in-cheek comment on the overcoming prob gambling page that as rayg has no diary I referred to him as the captain in disguise.....anyways today is another day and would like to apologise for the stressed caused to rayg....however I totally disagree with the comments that I chase new diaries away....I have stated manys a time that my grammar text has never been to higher level english standard...for weeks now I have struggled to find things to write about on my own diary and as I've pointed out its becoming increasingly difficult to post from my mobile.....as I have no issues whatsoever with gambling at present maybe its time to perhaps move that wee bit on and scale down my postings though these diaries have been a real saviour for myself....to the many of you who take the time to help me along the way I am forever grateful and will continue to follow your progressions silently or throw in the odd post here and there. 🙂 today I won't bet tomorrow I won't bet we can do this folks. 😉
