Hiya Flagg....hows the manflu? lol........that came out as "Manful" on predictive typing so had to quickly sort that out ....lol .....

Also I supported Italy then Spain being the glory hunter I am ....as as soon as that England shirt goes on something happens in the England team psyche and it all seems to go a bit skew wiff.

Yes...am on the upslide again and really hope to stay level for a while now.....weekend was fabo and now counting the days til the next break which will be Somerset way...Cheddar Gorge.

Keep posting Flagg ..your helping a lot of people and also a valued regular on the diaries .....

Flagg,

Just glanced through your last post. All I noticed was you were on a downer last night and you have a sore throat. You, like me, are clearly a big fan of Andy Murray and like me you spent all yesterday afternoon shouting at the telly and then felt devasted when the big bad Federer stole Andy's title from him.

Cheer up there is always next year.

Tomso.

Morning Diary,

Day 93 - Thanks all for messages yesterday I got home last night and I had a whole page worth of posts to read its always great to read people's perspectives or just the simple well wishes are greatly appreciated too!

Still have the old man flu but soldiering on actually I'm not too bad I don't generally roll around like I'm dying, I get to work and just plough through it! No real issues today, whatever got me down Sunday has passed! Still having the councillor man texting me asking if I want another appointment he is not particularly great at taking a hint! I don't want to be rude but it maybe my only option soon!

On with my day will try and get round diaries over the course of the day and catch up with you all!

Until then have a nice day!

Hey Flagg,

Sorry you have the man flu i hear it can be pretty serious but your not at the rolling around dying stage so thats good.

Sorry you had a bad day on sunday but i see your past that now, its amazing how quickly it can pass, day 80 for me tomorrow 11 days from target today..

Hope your getting lots of rest and you have a nice hot nurse mopping your brow and feeding you strawberrys as and when you need it lol.

Enjoy your day.

hiya Flagg....

Just thought I would post whilst waiting for some dry land to appear for our shiny friend....

I am mid clean which is my obsession so taking time out to do something worthwhile like writing is a good distraction as the house will here longer than me! lol

Yes...the consumption as I call it.....These feelings are so transitory aren't they? and they just seem to descend from nowhere....

All i know is that sometimes physical externals like not eating or eating and drinking the wrong stuff can aggravate the crash but they are not the cause.

Its like that saying cant see the wood for the trees...sometimes I get so bogged down with the micro and forget the macro and get it all out of perspective which is why like you say...the same problem exists but depending on the day it can feel all consuming or very distant.

When i'm distracted with other stuff and multi tasking it doesn't feel as bad or goes.

I know that when I was drinking heavily I was masking the real issues so one that went down and I did'nt have an escape crutch, the issues came back in full force and felt overwhelming.

Funnily enough sundays were always a bad day for me as I didnt have the usual crutches of work, drink etc and was left in my own skin ...plus I think my creative juices also started to come alive on sunday but soon clipped again as I knew i had to get primed for work the next day....restless boredom turned inward.

I used to always deliberately start rows on sundays too..I think I was bored and restless...plus my defences were lower so people more likely to get the truth out of me on a sunday !! lol.

I am not sure this ii typical for most but it was for me and still can be.

I think if I am left to "think " too much and have too much time in my own head then I become tunnel visioned and can start making mountains out of molehills and looking for icebergs when there are none.

Imagine what we all could do if we tapped into our collective GC creativity...???..we could power a small country!

Thats another reason for me too Flagg...on the downward spiral....If my creative energy is not harnessed and directed and if I don't feel i am learning then i turn destructive and self sabotage.

Clear skies ahead Flagg..

Rachel and dotty xx

Morning Diary,

Day 94 - Still feeling pretty rough with this man flu and still waiting for this nurse that Blondie suggested I get to come get me back to full fitness! Was half tempted to skip work today but like a true soldier I made it in!

Second day running not a great deal to report again but I do think if my mood is bright then this isn't a bad thing! Mayb it's some kind of normality whatever that may be!

Have a good day all,

Day 94 - No Issues
