??? Congratulations Roch - 50 Days Gamble Free ???

Very pleasing to see you fifty days into recovery and impressed, as always, with your positive attitude. 

I imagine your dear mum and lovely wife will be relieved and happy with your excellent progress.

Thank you, Stephen, for my 50th day gambling-free congratulation! 

My mum, and wife, the two people I have shared the news with, are pleased to hear the news.  

I don't over-egg it, this is one day at a time. I don't have access to online gambling sites, only casinos that are unregistered to GamStop but I can't use my cards etc for them. So I am covered. 

And when the shops open, and bookies and arcades open, I won't have funds because my Mum has my cards and if I need money my wife provides it.

In the past, I have clawed back my cards with predictable results. I gambled again. This time I am not getting my cards back. Ever. My Mum and wife accept my decision.

The result, despite a relapse that fortunately didn't cost me too much but was nevertheless unacceptable to me, is that I am saving money. I am debt free. In uncertain times I am doing the right thing for my family. 

We can all do this ... Look after ourselves and then those we care about.

Stephen, you have an innate care for others which really shines through. 

I am dedicating my 51st day of choosing not to gamble to you.

With thoroughness and planning

Things don't go hotch potch

I know what to do

Make a decision 

One without derision

... and it's simple. Just for today, I choose not to gamble.

Day 53, nearly over. I didn't gamble today.
