Hi everyone this is my first post, ive had gambling issues for last 3 years and have struggled very badly with it.

I met with gamcare today and have decided to join here also.

I have felt the addiction of gambling to be extremely over powering and really need whatever help i can get to overcome this 🙁

Hi Mikey,

Same here buddy! The urge to gamble far outweighs anything else I can think of! It is occupying my mind 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. The enjoyment has long gone so has the value of money!
We have to believe that we have the power to say NO and stick to it! I am in the same place as you.
Together we can do this!

Macca

Congratulations mate, I’m on day 48 and there very much seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your guard up and blocks in place and we will stay on easy street! Daniel

Hi Mikey and everyone,

That is brilliant! It is great to see you doing so well and moving forward towards the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am moving this thread over to recovery diaries, so you can keep monitoring your progress here together with everyone who wishes to join in.

Keep going!

Kind wishes

Gabriele

145 days - the urge to gamble is much less extreme now, also being automatically opted of all sign ups has been a real help
