Hi, Mike,

If the mobile is a problem, downgrade to a non Internet version. Not trendy but avoids that temptation. Also, you could report your Visa card lost and get a new one, to disentangle it from any stray websites. If money in your current account means gambling tokens, you could set up direct Debits to pay outgoings on payday and to move spare cash into an Instant Saver with a low withdrawal limit. Better still, hand financial control to someone you trust.

Ultimately, though, it's down to you, these measures would only help if you're not desperate enough to get round them. Get as much RL support as you can.

BW,

CW

Unfortunately due to the nature of my business I do need a smart phone so downgrading isn't an option for me.

Today is day 11. As I mentioned in my first post I did have a couple of small football bets at the weekend but nothing silly. Today I haven't thought about slots or gambling on football. It's a long road but I feel that I am on the right path.

Hi Mike, well done for getting to day 11gf. You are sounding really positive. Don't become too complacent or let your guard down. You are a CG and that is what got you here. Stay strong and you will succeed.

Take care.

Hi Tilly,

I agree, I have let myself down too many times to be complacent. However, I really want to succeed. I am already noticing a huge difference in how much expendable income I have and I quite like it. To think that there is money available to buy things for the kids or take my wife for a meal instead of just handing it over to the greedy bookies is a good feeling. Long may it continue.

Sorry not been around for a while. I am still going and now on to day 21. Just got a tiny little urge so thought I'd check in on here instead. Hope everyone else is doing well.
