I have been struggling to break my habit of losing my wages to online roulette for the past three years.
I joined this forum last week and have now gone 5 days without searching google for another casino. Everytime it crosses my mind I open up this page and read it for 5 minutes and it is actually helping.
I just hope I can keep this up
Well done on 5 days andy, that's a huge achievement after 3 years of gambling.
Read the diaries of others on here and see where the pitfalls are. If you can see them on your own horizon you have more chance of avoiding them.
You might want to chat with someone on the netline - see the link on the left hand side. It's free and worth a try.
All the best mate.
Hi Andy been reading through your posts and just wondering how you are and how your recovery is going. I found out in November my 25 year old son had become out of control with gambling so I'm interested to know how it's going for you. - wcid
Well done Andy,
Try self excluding from online bookmakers. Read diaries aswell. I have some useful pointers on my diary. But I have had relapses. I wish you well in recovery.
Stay strong,
Toad.
