Thanks for your post Deano. Delete it and forget it was my first thought, but that's just not me. I'm feeling ok about it today and think I've decided on a middle way...realised it doesn't have to be delete or hurl abuse!

Good to see you doing so well.You seem to be making some quite important changes. I'm liking the Zen Deano:) You're recent post about staying out of the family stuff reminded me of a quote "do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy?". We can spend forever arguing our point of view, trying to convince others to see things our way, knowing that we're right and they're wrong. But in the end all that mostly does is cause stress and anxiety....and people rarely bend. And you're so right about the loss of time rather tham the loss of money. Once we really get that ingrained in our heads it gets easier.

Hi Deano, thank you for the post and well done to you too. Just read 236, we all probably feel ashamed on here and time is something we can never get back but thats the whole point of remaining gf to ensure that we do not waste precious minutes and hours gambling and to ensure that we feel better about ourselves and therefore able to enjoy life and living once more. The money lost like you say is not so important when you weigh it up against missing out on family/friends stuff etc.,

Talking about it is good and also ranting like me today. I feel I need comfort food today - feel orange chips are needed pmsl. Best wishes and take care xx

Well what do you sound like then you Cheeky so.d WW1 survivor ! You all sound like your Saying " Auuuuuuuuuulriyt theeen " instead of " Alright then " So what am I supposed to think , I still imagine you with a perm so I've no chance of working out how you sound have I ? .

Youv'e gone very calm of late and I find that worrying if I'm honest , so I'm not sure if youv'e found some funny cigarettes down the back of your sofa or you've had one of those visions , Like the " Shroud of Turin " where the lords face appeared in a cloth only with you it's more likely to have appeared in one of those stains you get after a while in a new brick wall ?.

Thanks your "Holyworshipfullness" I've seen the light this morning and felt an inner calm I've never experienced before or it could have just been the downlighting in the kitchen and the Tea and toast that went with it. :)) I used to have a Navy Chaplain that came in the shop and he reminded me of you , his nickname was the "Mad Bish " what do you think about a name change ? Nice one Homie, kettle's on 🙂 I was back in the land of the living yesterday, so only a 3 day hangover. Twas major, phew, no more alcohol for me for another year haha! No damage done though, booze and gadgets don't work so we left those at home. I see Harold has pretended not to see my message, I think he's got 3 heads or something haha!
