I'm so tired of this. 3 years and no real progress.

i just want to be me again. Not even sure if I know who that is.

I'm £35k in debt, on a plan but don't get anywhere as I just gamble then borrow more.

This month I have managed to pay net of £600 so that's something at least. But only have £60 left now till the end of the month.

im sick of lying.

im sick of feeling so alone when I'm surrounded by wonderful people.

Day 1.

i wish I could say I was hopeful and confident I can suceed but I'm not.

i hope everyone else is doing okay.

x

its never ever too late to start afresh. Day 1 will soon blend into 2,3,4, etc but we do have to put blocks in place. If its online gambling then install K9 which is free but make sure you put a gobblegook password in that you wont remember then you cant take it off! draw out cash so only leave enough for bills in bank. Exclude from all sites. If its bookies then can be a bit more fiddly as you have to give them a picture and fill in a form. Ok might be a little embarassing to you but they wont bat an eyelid and well worth it as takaway the source and you takeaway some of the temptation. I am on 65 days and never thought I could come this far but am so much happier now than having to lie, the feelings of anxiety and loniless as I interact with my family again. If the debt plan is too much for you see if you can lower payments. However they wont do anything if you mention its due to gambling as I think you have to be gamble free for six months, Keep posting and we all help keep each others spirits up. stay strong
