Jac

Just wanted to echo what Seano and Jeff have said above. If you do not do it already you really should take up this type of thing as a profession.

Just to show how thick I am--I did not realise until now that Gull was your hubby. We used to exchange posts back in 2006 or 2007 when he and I were trying to stop gambling---needless to say your hubby was far more succesful than I at that time---I just hope after managing to stop for 3 months that now is my time!.

Your hubby may not have been a lucky gambler but he was definitely luccky in love---if not his choice of football teams!!

All the best

Hello Jac

Thanks for post. I appreciate you may not see it my way, but I am happy gambling as I am and have no desire to stop.

I have made tremendous progress in the last few years in general and in the last 7 weeks with regards to this site.

I am no different to many other gamblers, as expressed by others on here, in that I cant just tell the world I have huge debts due to gambling.

I will continue to make progress, find ways to fill my time, continue to gamble in the way I do which keeps me happy and does no harm financially and my debts will eventually be erased.

You do a great job supporting people on here, keep it up.

Hello Jackie,

I would like to say how sorry I am to hear the sad news about the Jim's elephant.

Jim and I certainly have a couple of things in common--

We sure cannot pick horses but we ain't half bad when it comes to women.

Thank you guys for the posts 🙂

Well I find myself reading and writing at this rediculous time of night, trying to distract myself but its not working.

Messed my meds up badly this morning and havent seemed to get on top of the pain all day. Once I get to this time of night with no sleep my body gets confused and Im sure it thinks Im doing night duty!

I use to work nights for 16 yrs when the children were younger and as anyone knows who does them... it totally messes you up, but at the same time becomes a way of life.

Its been two years this month since i was forced through ill health to give up my much loved job 🙁 .... but somewhere along the way, my body & brain didnt get all the messages! lol.

Time to move around a bit now. Stay safe everyone.

Jackie

Been reading parts of your diary and i find it very interesting to see how the other half experiences this evil.

I'll get round to reading more of your diary at some stage.

Hi Jac

Thank you so much fo the hugs. They were very much appreciated. I am sending them right back - (((((Jac)))))

Hope you have sorted your pain out by now.

You know, I do that. Forget to take my pills or not take enough. Then it buxxers everything up and I'm in pain for a couple of days until things are back into a routine.

I so feel for you, and still..... you sit and take the time to read diaries and help others. You're and amazing woman and I can't wait to meet you. Soon, hopefully. Maybe half-term in May.

Son's blood results have come back fine(more detail in my diary) :):):)

Lots of love to you and Jim

Have a Happy and painfree Easter.

God Bless

Charly/Sabine
