Well the horrible habit strikes again this time but more serious and lost more than money this time lost my relationship and family.

Been gambling since I was about 11 and now am 26 and still letting this s**t horrible disease get the better of me. The last time I went in a bookies and online was Friday so today is day 3 and although my world around me is shattered am ready to fight stronger and harder than before and beat this once and for all but next time I will keep my guard fully up.

I could sit here and moan and very and feel sorry for myself but instead am gonna stand on my own 2 feet get all the help open to me stick my chest out get my chin up and face this head in once and for all.

Thanks for listening guys

Hi Lee,

Welcome back to the Forum!

You really sound determined to face your problem with gambling and to get pro-active about it. The recovery diary is a good start and if you like to, you can always talk to an advisor on the Helpline or Netline, too. I hope that you will receive much support and advice!

Kind wishes

Gabriele
