Made it to GA last night.

A very powerful meeting.

A couple of members had gambling to report.

The advice they received was terrific,hopefully they'll act on it.

I'm doing ok.

Glad it's the weekend.

It makes me stronger and even more determined to stay off a bet.

The haunted look on their faces speaks volumes- i never want to go back to that.

GA works for me alongside this forum and a determination to change for the better.

As you know,GA isn't for everybody, in fact, i don't always go. However,it can be a brutal reminder about the horrors that this illness brings-that's why i try and go whenever i can.

That was a little light bulb moment for me so thank you.

I don't think about gambling but i do think about my recovery.

I never wanted gambling to be my all consuming thought and as I pass each gamble free day its moving further from my mind but my recovery is still so important and i should always remember that.
