Wow, thanks for all the really kind support in your last messages, it really touched me.

Yesterday was a tough day, but got through it ok, thanks to your kind posts. I did log on and read them, I just didn't feel like posting until tonight, but thanks again.

I've not had any major urges today, so on the gambling front, one more day has been notched up. I'm over 4 months now and hoping for 4 more!

I've got a day off on Wednesday to watch England. Pain or pleasure I wonder?! Got a little feeling that we might just pull out a amazing performance and win, however that little feeling has cost me a fortune in previous years so I won't be wasting any of my hard earned this, or any other time.

I think England will win comfortably on Wednesday mate. Like you i will not be having any money on it though.

I don't blame you for having a little snigger at Dustin chucking it away in the golf. I was laughing myself with my missus. Did you see the drive he hit on the 3rd? He missed the fairway by about 200 yards! I could hit 1000 balls and i swear i would not hit one that bad. The muppet. Looks like i will have to find my holiday spends from elsewhere!

as i've said on a few other posts, i am from "up north", and am looking forward to tomorrows game. Will they be Hero's or Zero's ? only time will tell!

Thanks for the posts.

Had a great day today. Watched highlights of England beating Aussies in cricket, watched England pull out a good performance to go through to meet the Germans, then flicked between the Germany match and that incredible tennis match that is currently 59-59 in the last set, truly amazing. Also, managed to get the putting mat out for half an hour for a bit of practise as well. And best of all, I didn't have one gambling urge all day. Happy Days!!

Nice refreshing post. Glad you had a good day, and even glad England played well and won. Not all Scots wanted them to lose! I watched the game in a pub while my car was getting new tyres fitted ( any excuse to go to pub )

Hi Steve,glad all is well mate....,for what my opinion is worth i think England can beat the "Germans"(i use the term Germans loosely,as they have 9 players in the squad who aren't german by birth or parentage!!!),so i will re-phrase it.....,i think England can beat the Turkish/polish/bosnian/ghana/brazil/german select 11.

I managed to catch a bit of the game in work the other day and from what i saw we were much better. Need to play with the same attitude and tempo against the Gerturpoles.

Oh and yes mate that attempted block by Terry was class. He is still a massive k**b though.

Got called into work at the last minute yesterday, so ended up losing my day off, but nevermind it was to cover a friend who had a family behreavement so i'm not complaining. It did scupper my plans though. However, I have rearranged my golf for a twilight round on Sunday night. I'm working for the England game, but I think I will abuse my position for once and hide myself away to see the game. I see that there is an awful lot of so called free bets flying around for the England game at the moment. No such thing though really is there?! I personally think that gambling for free should be banned.
