hi everyone im joe,

iv been gamblimg since I was 17 im now 30 its been serious for about 5 years in which iv lost thousands around 25k in them 5 yrs, im only on average wage so cant afford to gamble like that im around 6k in debt and im on the verge of losing my house, my only hope of keeping it is if I stop now, which is hopefully what i am trying to achieve now.

day two.... today has been hard which I knew would be coz even tho I like a bet on roulette horses etc i mainly bet on football, and as there was a lot of football games tonight the urges and temptation was very high but i resisted which im very proud of and do feel better now.

its the first time and years since i have not had a bet on football so even tho its only day2 that is a big step for me i know theres a long way to go and plenty of ups n downs on the way, but im ready for this challenge and i will take each day as it comes, and will be on this site every day as the support on here is amazing from all you amazing people in similar situations. thank you

self exclude and your life will change for the better. The decision is made for you, you cannot gamble. It is not a guaranteed way to beat this addiction but it does help in a big way.Take care

cheers smiler yeah iv already cancelled all my accounts,

its day3 and its another day gamble free, theres been more midweek football games on tonight and iv managed to resist the temptation of going to the bookies and wasting more money on bets that normally lose, it might not seem like a lot 3days but for the last 10 to 11 yrs I have always had a bet on football games so even tho it feels weird watchin a football match without having a bet on, I kmow its for the best and I feel so much better when I wake up in the morning without thinking "cant believe I lost that last nite"

a long way to go tho iv no doubt in that
