Day 161=23 weeks

Just been for our wee walk- got drenched! I love walking in the rain but poor wee Paddy's hates it (he prefers playing in manky puddles bizarrely).

The early night worked a treat and I feel much better this morning- more purposeful.

I've got a barrowload of stuff that I need to catch up with for work, so thats my plan for today.

Hi Irene,

Well done on the 23 weeks, you are doing this and I hope you still get that walk glow of pride with what you have and are achieving.

Purposeful and a plan ? What a great Sunday.

Enjoy your day

Hey Irene

So glad to see that you have finally got the ball rowling with the creditors!! I'm sure the rest will follow suit.

Hope all is good with you? Hopefully catch up soon and back playing Scrabble.

Back in work now as you know and on some conversion course this week so like you with your paperwork, I have some pre-reading to do (which I have had since last Thursday and not so much as read one page)!! Guess what I will be cramming all tomorrow night in bed???

Take care and keep up your great work.

Hey,

You know I did seriously consider contacting and saying hi! I guess my inability to be a bit cheeky failed me. I must ask you where is the sunshine? I was froze just walking to my car!

Well done on your continued success, recovery is very much a journey and a work in progress it's lovely to see you very much on that journey!

Day 163

Mr f sounds like a southern wimp- this is the sunniest/warmest its been for months 🙂

I'm hanging my head a bit today- my posting has been a bit lax recently. Today however, I feel a renewed energy as we celebrate a good friend's milestone. Ms B was on of the 1st folk I "met" here when my head was puggled- she encouraged me and supported me in the early days and still does. There are numerous people who have been so influential since I arrived on this forum, some have long gone and some post daily and I wish I could thank them all.

I really didnt fully appreciate the value of peer support previously- now I'd be stuck without it 🙂

My goodness- anyone reading will be bored witless by my "renewed energy" posting hahaha.

I've actually had a calm few days- no major urges. Oh, I almost bought a "football" team today- one of those charity fundraiser card things. I stopped myself in time (not sure if its really gambling, but I suppose spending money to win money is) and pleaded "skint before payday".

I cant remember when I last had money in my account approaching the next payday.....I have got a wee bit left this month which I plan to put aside for a "rainy day" (or if I finally quit smoking, towards an autumn break)

Phew.....

Hello Queen Irene! 😀

It's horrible in Carlisle too! Hopefully will pick up a bit later.

Great to see you're still well and truly in control! Occasionally see people slip on here and back to day one but never our Irene! Long may it continue too!!! Well done 🙂

Love, Stubbsy 🙂 x
