Thanks DF/ML x

Day 260- a "zero day" 🙂

Back from "hols"....I'm a bit cheeky describing one night away as my holidays, but it was a relaxing break. Hotel was horrible, weather manky but me n Paddy had a ball! We chased sticks and pebbles for hours in the loch and walked for miles. I am lucky to live so close to the beauty that this country has in abundance- awoke today to blue skies and mist lifting from the ***. Unfortunately, pouring with rain now....perfect weather for going back to work tomorrow 🙂

Gambling has been far from my thoughts and I am so thankful for this period of peace from urges/angst.

Hey holiday girl:-)

Fantastic to hear that you had a good time, at least one day "away" can mean big deal;-)

Weather...well end of July must be raining season lol

But a little rain wont hurt ( i have to admit it stopped me from running today- slap my wrists :-))

Take care and all the best...another day further, i like your "zero day" too!

Hi Irene

Glad you had a bit of a break and you sound in fine fettle...

It was my last job that took me all over the country , this one I go to the same place every day , Manchester city centre.

I do miss the open road some days but not the traffic jams and racing against the clock..

Talking of doggy sitting..it's after 8 and I still have a greyhound..lol...I'm not worried as she can stay another night but I get too attached to them..I'm sure Paddy would be a great friend too for my Dots ..and Penny Pops xx

R and D xx

Glad you had a lovely hols lol. Any break is great. It's just great to do something different. Life can become monotonous (that's a big word for me!) sometimes and you have to mix it up and do things you wanna do. Big congrats on another zero day, 260 is just awesome. Hope work ain't to bad and have a great week.

Thanks so much x

Day 261

I quite enjoyed the monotony of work today (saddo that I am). Actually, my job's never boring although it can be very emotionally draining. Today however was good with my Friday afternoon "thing" changed to a tues evening which made it a long 1st day back, but great fun as usual 🙂

Gym this morning before work in an attempt to get back into a routine.

I think Dave's comment is spot on- there needs to be time to do what you want to do in life. I'm trying bit by bit to make that time to enjoy being me.

Day 262

Nothing much happening at the mo.....which is how I like life now. I'm not sure how I ever coped with the extreme highs and lows of gambling- no wonder my head's been puggled!

Firmly feel like I'm back into a routine after only 2 days back, feel like I've never been off work! Had a particularly challenging day, however it passed so quickly!

Irene

Life is without doubt improved greatly without our gambling destructing it.

Keep making the right choice.

No bet today.

Duncs stepping forward never back.

Hello Irene,

Thank you very much for your kind words and understanding. Yes it is my diary, recovery diary, but now and again i get out of line and put personal stuff down..i keep forgetting it's public diary sometimes. As well as i feel i am split personality and if you noticed my moods can change hourly...which is annoying, and i keep changing my mind, coming bk here and editing my posts.

I appreciate all of your support, and i am blessed to have you all here...thank you very much.

I hope you have a great day

Fantastic achievements darling, keep it up.

Sandra x ( getting like zombie...lol...lack of sleep, which is not funny really, just losing my marbles:-) )
