Four things I've learned (1) For all us gamblers this will be a lifelong battle. (2) When you are doing well there is still a need to make it a monthly thing to log on here and into a bank account with a close family member or friend every 3 months or less and show bank account transactions and discuss. (3) There is zero kidding yourself on that freebies and free bets are acceptable, it will lead to you getting the buzz and cracking one day and doing the real thing. (4) There is hope, don't put limitations on how well you can do and keep on trying when you fall down.

My history: I gambled £20,000 when I was 25; I stopped for 8 years (will power/focus on positive things and confidence); I gradually got the bug and gambled £16,000 age 33; I stopped for 3 years: The last two weeks I have deposited £3000, shockingly I have withdrawn the £3000 I clawed back and shut down the account but risked it all like 500 times in an 11 hour betting frenzy that nearly landed my body in hospital.

I AM NOW READY TO MAKE NECESSARY CHANGES AND IMPROVE HOW I DO THE GAMBLE FREE THING AGAIN - BEST AND ONLY WAY TO BE.

Thanks

Hiya my friend

I so feel your pain I stopped for over a year then on the 24th of April I was going through my emails and yes I took the bate and went online to gamble on my vice the terrible roulette in the space of 1hr I lost  £8000 and had know way off paying this back and I you'd my partners PayPal so all I can say is I tried to take the easy way out but was found in time or through this evil I would've left my kids with No7 dad. I'm still in the family home but things are tenses and I've got alot of help taking one day at a time and if we can put things in place to lessen the damage and harm I cause when I choose to gamble I need to stay gamble free
