I recently noticed how the young people are struggling to find work how the economy is struggling especially the youth and reading the vast amount of comments the amount of people struggling to make ends meet i wonder what percentage of these people would turn towards gambling for financial reasons only to become addicted if anyone gambling to make to make financial gain shouldnt be doing it in the first place i honestly believe its only going to get worse the economy is struggling many people are living pay check to pay check im interested in the statistic how many people turned to gambling due to financial reasons as was already struggling with these stupid promo they offer when joining i can see why people would start gambling even though its not something would interest them

Taz, I suspect the high unemployment rate will contribute to the fact that young people or whoever can't find a job might look for other alternatives to make money for living , hence they would think turn to gambling might seem an option to them. However, gambling should not be counted as a way to make money, it will make matters worse.  The government should help in my opinion. Try to seek help from government venues like Citizen Advice Bureau if anyone can't find a job. If people  not able to find a full time job, just look for one or more part-time jobs for the time being. I know quite a few young people at my  working place graduated from Uni for more than a year and still couldn't get a  job  related to what they studied. They will first find  casual job but keep looking for their dreamt job. That is a better and more positive approach to face the reality.

Hi Taz

I think you have hit the nail on the head. Nothing is going to stop this problem getting worse.
