I am back to my old ways losing all my monthly money I get each month. I don't know where to go now. Thousands and Thousands of pounds gone. It's all on slot machines in the pubs and bookmakers. Just going to those places alone and throwing my money away. Some sort of deep depression has come over me. I am 42 years old now and this has been going on for the last 20 years. I could have been a very wealthy individual but no I am broke.

Try joining moses that bans you from places like the bookies. I went around after with a letter and a photograph stapled to it saying don't let me in. You have to put the effort in because think they could easily not allow us entry but it's so simple and easy to walk in without question. The doors on bookies should be members only or facial recognition and if you choose to ban yourself they take away your door entry card or take your face off the system (Simple). Will they do that though NO Because they want every last penny off you. Give up your finances to someone you trust, reduce your daily withdraw limit to what's comfortable, get a money top up card and transfer money to that for essentials. It's hard work but every block makes it harder, also if you can lay off the beer it did wonders for me because every time i drank I gambled and every time I was gambling I was drinking more and more. Now I choose when I want to drink e.g. special occasions or if I'm in the right frame of mind and haven't gambled in over a month. Good Luck. Nathan.
