Has anyone else ran up huge debts of multiple credit cards to cover their gambling habits? I am in over 8 grand of debt and it isn't stopping. I just can't keep going round In circles.

Although I take 100% responsibility for actions, the credit card companies I experienced hardly helped my situation. Every time I neared my credit limit they would raise it a bit more even though there was only gambling transactions taking place so they knew what was going on. One card went from 750 limit to 11,750 in a few years and the other from 2000 to 14,200.
I used to Payplan to help pay this off 28K in total. Stepchange also offer the same free service.

Yes I had the same problem. My low point was with seven cards all maxed out. I was using the cards as gambling chips online. Even if I say lost a couple of grand in a day (a huge amount of money to me) I would think, ah no bother I'll win it back tomorrow using card x / y / z.
Please listen to the folks on here and take their advice. Don't allow your situation to became any more unmanageable. Focus on the recovery. Put controls in place to stop yourself gambling. I did and before long I was starting to enjoy life's simple things that had got lost in the cloud of gambling thoughts, preoccupations and actions.
