Well done Jenny, that's a good step to take. Self exclusion helps. It's helped me with all the other blocks in place. Don't beat yourself up. Just keep trying 

Feel your pain been there so many times . They are allowed to exist because the money it makes our goverment in tax. If bookie shops were closed it be so much easier for sone folk to quit. And those who can be trusted to gamble could still bet online. In my opinion bookie shops are only open to take money of vulnerable gambling addicts .

Thankyou guys, yes gotta stop full stop, like you said yesterday if I'd won I wouldnt be here but then I'd eventually lose. Someone has to lose for you to win. Its a horrible endeavour that for you to experience joy someone has to experience sorrow. And in the end they get us all. There's no winners except the establishment and the government. They leach off us addicts and make so much in tax that they will never close. In the end you have to find your inner strength to say Adios and keep Yr hard earned money for something decent not just throwing it away in a poxy machine. Not just the financial side its the mental side it grips you like any drug, you can pull Yr self away and soul destroying so it's not good in any way. So this is my day 1. But my resolve is to stay off machines for good. I don't wamt to feel this anquish anymore, it's ghastly. 

I meant you can't pull Yr self away wen Yr in the grip of a machine coz u feel it owes you money n unfortunately it doesn't. Also as they're controlled my a chip there's no limits as to what it will take. Especially with the 2 pd stakes, god they're awful daylight robbery
