So today was mine am my partners shopping day. Couple of days ago I wrote a message on here about how I have blocked gambling sites and in shop for good. Today I went to do our shopping and never entered a bookies or gaming centre. And came home with left over money. In over 3 years we have never had money left after payday as I always gambled it in shop and online. Today I felt a lot better felt proud of myself and it was nice to go shopping and not enter a bookies.

Keep talking it through as its an addiction waiting to seize its moment, its trigger point to blindside you . You must never be complacent as we all have a tendency to feel we have got the handle of this sooner rather than later
Do have a look at the advice to protect your money, only go out with limited amounts and try and make sure you are never aimless in town.
My town was a place that could depress and bore me quickly. I would suffer anxiety and stress at the smallest of things...being short changed...something I really wanted not being in stock or seeing someone buying the last one
Also please ensure you are excluded from everywhere in the local area and on your travel routes. Its very important that they know who you are, you don't feel welcome and temptation is nipped in the bud.
You will build on the glowing feeling that you don't need gambling (and never really needed it) as you have better things to do with your life
