All good at the pad. Leaping into Monday in good form. I haven't a groat today but no urges to gamble. I need to stay firm, resilient and ready life is better without gambling.

Day 34,

I was home early today. So toad mowed the front lawns. So the sun is out ☀ and I am happy that I used my free time constructively.

I also did some wedding by the pad and managed to accidentally swallow a fly.

So a good day all round. It's about making the right choices. I do notice I have more free time lately. So all good so far.

Good morning all,

I am a bit tired from the gardening yesterday. I mentioned wedding instead of weeding in my previous post but I was too late to edit it.

I have plans today to weed the front paving at the house. That's really it for today.

I must return to my pad I'm working from home today. No urges to gamble. I barred myself from four bookies in my town which has four bookmakers. I am banned online so all good.

So leap up all and face the day. Croak on with life and live your best life.

Hello Folks,

I Just want to say although I am getting the days in this isn't easy. I am tempted to gamble but thankfully I have two major obstacles in place like gamstop and self exclusion from the bookies. I don't want to come across as arrogant that I'm sailing along the days going in and this is all so easy. It is not.

Time will tell as its hard to trust myself sometimes. Anyway I just wanted to add this in. Toad may have a name but I'm human and maybe hiding behind the character Toad of Toad Hall. In reality I'm just like everyone else here I have a weakness.

I used to love gambling but it took a long time to realise I even had a problem. It's a slow process to end up in mess I did in the past. I have forgiven myself so time to move forwards and look to the future. Positivity all the way.

Leaping into a new day with positivity and zest. I hope everyone is doing well and gamble free today. I checked horse racing ? results yesterday. Absolutely pointless as I didn't intend to bet.

It's hard to change old habits but it's what I'm trying to do. So moving forward I will not check any results and that includes virtual racing which I used to love.

Feeling quite subdued by the pond. Yes I'm not gambling which is great. Work not going so great can bring you down but I'm off the rest of the week.

Better to have one problem than two. It's only work. I'm still on course but like anyone we have good days and bad.

Just having a strong coffee in town before work. Feeling okay today and feeling positive. I am really enjoying life more without gambling. Life is much better without this parasite. I must remain focused. The simple things in life are the best. My work is going well this week so that also helps. Thankyou Slowlearner for your support it helps so much. I hope you are doing well too.

I have joined a gym and starting tomorrow. The last few months I have put on alot of weight and I need to get fitter. Anything is better than gambling. I went out yesterday for a meal with Mrs Toad it was lovely.

So all good by the pond I am staying safe in my pad and making the right choices. The gambling parasite can leap off my back.
