Day 9,

Nothing to say but I'm on day 9. Toad was knocked down but I have got up and dusted myself down to continue my journey of abstinence.

Nobody said this would be easy.......

Day 10,

Just want to say how thankfull I am for what I do own in life. I have my health and a great wife. We have a roof over our heads and we are  grateful for what we have. I want to focus again on the simple things in life and to forget about money. To just enjoy life and make the most of it. By focusing on this I won't hopefully throw everything away because staying on a gambling path destroys everything in its path.

Day 17,

I was in work today out of town and the  bookies where available. I am not going to lie I was tempted to go in today but refrained.

Very glad I didn't mess up as I leapt by the bookies. All good thankfully.

Good afternoon all. ? I'm back at the gym to try and shed a few pounds. Better than shedding pounds elsewhere.

Day 2

Fresh start and taking this serious now. I have been knocked down many times but I get back up after dusting myself down

My friend always said I was like a rubber ball and keep bouncing back. I intend to bounce back but I am under no illusion as every fall damages your mental health. 

This has to be it I am 47 now time to grow up. I have enough money to do so no need to gamble.

Make this your daily/every few days/weekly check in to remind yourself why you are here and to be accountable at all times, not just when you’ve gone back at it.

As the years went by It went on

Toad would not stop it didn't dawn

Chief Stoat said you need to get help

Toad needs to tighten his belt

So life is better at Toad Hall without the ball

The Roulette wheel still spins and still calls

Hi Toad....i haven't been on here for ages...thought id take a peep....if it wasnt for this place God knows where i would be now....thankfully im fast approaching the 7 year gamble free mark...and lifes finally all i ever wanted it to be...normal ups/downs but least i dont run to those online slots for the answer...anyway im Sorry to hear you are back again...but least youve recognised you still need to be here...you know what you got to do...listen to bal...and al...dont beat yourself up ..get all those blocks in place and focus on today only...wish i could send you some strength....but youve got to find...and want to find that for yourself...so ill send you a hug...and one to any one else from my early day's on here xx
