didnt know i had a problem until today when i saw the damage on bank statements, my problem is online bingo any advice from other users would really help please.
hi macks, perhaps you should go into more detail on your problem? what is your gambling like? how do you feel? what are your plans to stop and make your life better? getting things off your chest is often the start of a new beginning, all the best.
i thought bingo was just a hobby but turns out its not but i play and play i am very lonely i live with my 6 year old son in a flat i am disabeld and have no family near me im trying to move and have been for 5 years, so when im sat here on my own my firstthought is bingo and i dont how to get out of this feeling i must play any help would great please.
You have recognised you have a problem and also why you have a problem - boredom? loneliness? so that is a positive start.
I would suggest if you really wanted to stop , block the websites and self exclude from the companies you play Bingo with.
It sounds like you dont have many people around you , it must be very hard and a lot of us turn to gambling.
Personally you know the family live quite far away , if it was me I would try and save enough to be nearer to them , it sounds like that would make you happy.
thanks for replying i have now excluded from the bingo sites i use and im looking for block to go on my computer i have been trying to move for 5 years but im in social housing and i bid every week but i am still to far down the list i have sent them letters from the doctor, school as my son is autistic i dont know what else to do ive got to get out of this flat.
Im sure if you arranged a personal visit to your local MP they would argue your case for you.
If you are brutally honest with him about the damaging effect not being near your family is having im sure they could sort something out.
