Hello, I'm John, 18 and a problem gambler

I've only been 18 6 months and in that time i have managed to blow a large amount of money (No specifics as i cant have my parents finding this information out). My main problem is Roulette, but football bets are also an issue. For the past month or two, i have been living in debt, despite earning £100 a week. My problem now is not the physical amount i gamble away, but the percentage of money i gamble away. For instance tonight i had £40 in my bank, knowing that another £20 will be taken out tomorrow. I put £20 in my betting account, lost that, then put another twenty in leading to me being overdrawn by this time tomorrow. I won £150, and tried to cash it out but i wouldnt let myself, thinking the machine was on a pay out (How stupid) and then i lost it all. Now i am £20 in debt, which isnt a lot, but to me is a fortune as i cannot pay it off.

Sorry for the long introduction!

See you around

you have made a good decision sharing here. You just need to read a few of the posts to realise how easy (and common) it is to go from £20 to £200 to £2000. Stop now as nothing good will come of it !! Good luck
