Hi this is my first ever post although i have used the site for guidance and support over the last 9 months. I was doing well, great in fact. i had closed all my online accounts telling them that i was a problem gambler so i had nowhere to sign into. i felt wonderful, the compulsion was diminishing and i was happy in myself and the need wasnt there. online slots are my thing

anyway next thing i get an email from health lottery. i hadnt bothered closing that because well basically i had forgotten all about it. well it tells me all about their new bingo and slots and......... So now i am hiding the mail as my direct debits have bounced and will have to be met from elsewhere as i did my full month wages plus overdraft. i cant tell anyone and am pretnding to be detoxing for january as i cant admit what i have done.

8 or almost 9 months down the pan. amdisgusted with myself

Hi Redfin, as you say you've done great up until now. Just accept this is one slip and look to tomorrow. Do not go down the road that I've done trying to chase your loses. Accept it's one blip and look forward to tomorrow being a gamble free day..

Mo
