So. Its payday tomorrow!

I'm actually really really excited about it. For the first time in roughly 2 years, I dont owe a single penny out of my wage to anyone!

Obviously my household Bill's will come out of my account at midnight, but the rest is mine!

I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to gamble. I'm meeting my daughter after work and taking her shopping for her dads fathers day gifts. (Shes 11)

I feel good! Like so so good. I'm excited for the future. I've saved so much money in only 1 month. It feels amazing.

Good luck everyone and keep going.  Xx

Hi

The recovery program helped me understand that I did not know how to celebrate in healthy ways.

The recovery program helped me understand that I needed to exchange unhealthy habits in to healthy habits.

The more effort I put in to my growth and productivity in my earlier days the easier my recovery would be.

In time on a daily basis I would write down my needs my wants and in time write down my goals.

Writing daily was my commitment to myself.

Procrastination is and was unhealthy for me, the more motivated I get in healthy ways the less vulnerable I felt with in myself.

My fears were every where, in time I would identify that living in fear was both unhealthy and also stunted my growth.

The recovery program helped me understand that I when I walked in to recovery I had became a very unhealthy vulnerable person, today that is much less so.

No one limited me I limited myself.

I am an equal to all people in the recovery program, time off does not mean I am different in way to another person in recovery.

The recovery program works like mountain climbers tied together with ropes who find safe and secure ways of learning and finding new skills in living a healthier life today.

Love and peace to every one.

Hi all,

I just wanted to give a quick update on my GF journey.
I’ve not gambled since 25.05.2019.

I have a new job, my husband stuck by me through it all and I now have zero urges to gamble.
It was a hard slog at the start, but with new hobbies, job, friends. My life is so much better now. I can’t thank this site enough and all of you lovely people who listened and advised.
thank you all.
good luck on your GF journey:)
