Well ive gone and done it again twice.
Ive let my mother, son and ex partner down.
Also feel like ive let people on here down......especially rach (forgot her site name)
Along with the other people who have tried to help and encourage me on here.
I was on top of the world thurs, fri getting debt sorted with pay plan and councillors.
Then decided to try one of my pin numbers on the only card I didn't max out.
Feel like just crying right now its got that bad.

All I can say is im sorry for letting you all down

Jeff, you're back so you didn't let me down! This is an awful addiction & by coming back here, you have proved that you have not given up! If that card is not maxed out & you don't need it to live, phone & report it lost so you can't use it anymore! Remember how good it felt when you weren't gambling...You have to pick yourself off, dust yourself down & get back on with your recovery! You had a blip, you're back! No-one likes to hear that the demons have dragged anyone in but when they do, all we hope is that people find the strength to come straight here & get on with their recovery which is what you have done so welcome back 🙂 What's done is done, try & get some sleep now & figure out a new plan in the morning with a clearer head!

Rachel's handle is somethingsgottagive if you want to drop by!

It's at times like this im glad I found this forum.
Just spoke with the ex and she was great.
How I let her go is beyond me.

I've got to dust my self down and continue this fight.

good to see you're not letting the blip turn into anything too big. No one expects perfection, we hope to see commitment and your back here and you have yourself back under control again. That's commitment. Stay strong, you can do this.

Hi jeff, don't be nervous of GA, you will meet people who think/feel exactly the same as you, you're not alone and they will welcome you with open arms. I gambled every day for my first 2 years of attending GA but i still had a desire to stop but i just couldn't, then one day it clicked, then i had longer periods off until it clicked even more, but i never stopped going to GA and have been attending for about 9 years now and things are good. Never give up, and never beat yourself up about letting people down on here, that's just an excuse to carry on the self pity and self loathing. Stop gambling and start living, fill the gambling time with positive things, go to GA, go to the gym, spend time with your son, go and watch a movie. Yes life might be dull sometimes but it's dull for everyone and it's worse when we do all our cash cos then we're in a hole. There's only one way to get out of a hole, stop digging it. C'mon Jeff, let's do this.

well I went and enjoyed meeting the people there.
Was given contact details for most of the group. This shocked me that people would give me a mobile number on my first visit.
Not in a bad a worrying way mind.
Also got my k9 blocker installed so goodbye gambling sites.
There is one but in all this I got a bonus this afternoon from the site I played on and spent jt online.
Part of me didn't want there money any more so just played it until it was gone.
I did tell this to the people at the ga meeting. Also I don't like lieing to any of the members on here.
But my blockers in place now and my ex partner only has the password.

You didn't let me down Jeff. I wasn't expecting you to walk on water today. I am sure tomorrow is no good either.

Keep the faith.

Most people never quit on their first time. I have had so many failed quits. But I never stopped battling. So shouldn't you. It maybe quit 2 or quit 2000 before you stop, but you will eventually quit.

Keep at it.

I am hoping for your success.
