well ga meeting number 2 tonight.
Must admit I done something strange last night when leaving the pub we use for are fishing club meetings.
I for some reason put a £1 into the bandit then put it on to its lowest stake of 10p per spin.
Played this to see if I could walk away ( which I did).
Not totally sure why I done this because it could of triggered something.
But I felt like testing my willpower.
My willpower held but the bloody bandit got the £1.
Never mind Jeff. Day 1 again but never give up
It was foolish thing to try but I must admit with getting involved with online sites my desire for machines in bookies and arcades some what disappeared.
At the moment I don't even think of these places.
Just glad I got the blocking software in place because this stops me totally. May be its to do with timescale the more time your away from these things the better your mind starts to work more normally?
Definitely the more time you spend gamble free the more normal it (and you) become.
It's not about willpower, we know you've got that, it takes tons to keep feeding a gambling addiction when we know how much easier your life would be if you didnt gamble. Willpower. Tick. Nothing to prove.
Keep in mind the feeling you get at the end of a GA meeting, look forward to it.
Affected by gambling?
