I kind of new to this site
ive been trying to find women online who’s boyfriends are addicted to gambling as I would relate with them the most. Or anyone really at this point!
ive been with my boyfriend for around 7 months now and we already live together ,he’s addicted to gambling.And we’re both very stressed at the moment as we both don’t have much money.He lashes out and snaps at me often because he hasn’t put any money on a bet or on online casinos or anything in a while.
i don’t want it to hurt our relationship because he means the world to me and I won’t give up on him.i just need to find the right advice and the right people to talk to.
So if anyone on this site,no matter who you are,can give me a little advice on how to deal with him better then I’ll be extremely greatful!

My fiancé gambles, So I know exactly what your going through.
My first question would be does he genuinely want to stop, because it is quite often one step forward and two back. We win some weeks and not others. I find not be too judgmental when he does gamble. Although I would advice you not to become financially joined. My fiancé has no access to my money, I have all bill from my account he pays me money before he has chance to spend the Bill money so we never have any worries that things won’t be paid. We also don’t pretend that he is never going to Gamble again. He is banned from online Gambling, local shops, although he slipped through the loop yesterday and found one he was not banned from, I had to go and rescue him. However he is banned now. I know he genuinely wants to stop, when I go to rescue him he comes straight away, without argument.
My fiancé get grumpy when he needs to Gamble, but I am learning to recognise the signs and be up front with him as to why he is angry/ grumpy. And we talk through what is making him want to gamble.
It’s an uphill struggle some days, but Like you I love my fiancé and don’t want to give up on him. I hope he realises what he has in you, take care, Rachel
