Hi Rama,

We did talk on chat last week. Have you spoken to Gamcare, looked into Counselling (through Gamcare), looked where your nearest GA meetings are. Looked into self exclusion. Handing finances over.

There are several things you can do. The money has gone and any chasing will only increase those losses. If debts are high contact Stepchange.

I want is possible but you do need to take some action yourself.

Best wishes

Sent application not sure how long will they take to process. I am running out of money. What's the benefit of DMP n how much can be the debt pls guys?

Well done on taking some steps.

Each persons DMP will be unique to there own circumstances and you will be left with enough for monthly running costs and a bit left over

Rama, if you have a look at either Stepchange or Payplan they are both government funded and are free to use. They will be able to help and advise about your finances such as a debt management plan. I myself have used a DMP and they really do help. As for the gambling you need to accept the losses and move forward. You can recoup the finances over time but you will never get the time back that you have lost through gambling. There are much better things that you can spend your time on such as family , friends and hobbies.

Hello Rama

The forum users here have given you great advice which is to wait to hear from National Debtline, or if you wish, to contact Stepchange, or Payplan. They are in the best position to advise on your debt options. You can find contact details here:
