First i want apologues - my English isn't very good, but i will try simple sentences and i hope everyone will undertood me and help finish this story.
My Story - It was 2006 summer time. I lived in Riga (Latvia). In this summer all my live was change tp the good way and bad way.
Good way - i found my wife, who is now my kids mom, women who never turned to me back, she always was found power to fight and suported me. But i never see that.
Bad way - gambling. All sart with one bet. I was at work and come one colleague, he ask " Marek are you have online beting account?" I told " no what is that beting online?" I think yehoo easy, i will not deposit i just play with 100 and take out and forget about, just get extra money to weekend. But i was wrong. All my live i play basketball, i loved sport. i went all sport games in live. i was big fan off EX "ASK Riga" basketball team. In that day was game. "Ask" with samone, i can't remmeber so well. and i bet my first bet 100£ to over 141.5 in game. what is 141.5 each team must score 71 point, i think it is simple. And i bet. Game finish 95 - 84 win Ask. now i got 185£ just like from sky money come to me. In this day i feel like basketball expert.
whats happen next. i bet again and win, bet again and win i get around 600£ in one week, it is unbelievable.why i working so hard every day 11h 5 days in a week and get end off mouth 700£ if i in this week get 600£???? ok i wasn't so stupid and i didn't quit the job. and in next week start going down - 600 in one hour was gone, games finish 1,2,3 pont les how i bet, and next i make move with my credit card - first 100 whent there after othre 200 and again 200 and again 200 and i don't have money in my account. It was first mounth when i start beting.
After i get, it is wrong and bla bla bla, i just tryed and not any more. finish beting. again i was wrong.
i didn't bet more just 10 month. we was out with freinds in city, get little drinks and fun. One men ask lets go play slots, and we went. we play like 3 hours in there and i win 3000£ in one night. and here was the start of beting play casino. In this same time i want get married, and She sed YES, i was happy i have money and no all my live will be perfect no worry at all. we must pay all weding around 5000£ but i have just 3000, i went to that friend who play online beting and i ask him - " tell me please how i can rise this to 5000 but i got just 3000" and he help me - in one day a have my all money and i pay my wending axpences. after some couple month my money is finish and i need more, i start beting my own, lost, lost, lost - i worked harder to get back, i work to jobs day and night. i get back in live 2008 when come to live my daughter. and i need again more money - i play my money, wifes money i start lie to wife, freinds all my familly. and 2010 i tell all true to my wife - i didn't get why she didn't run a way from me, but she stay and try support me.
its help just for mouth 2 and i lost a job, but i found job in England and i trying run from beting to England. i hope i don't beting there. i work first 6 mouth hard to save money and bring my familly here, i did, they come, and we live normal half year until i found w*********l beting shop. - and again i lost all every month. wife work to ceaped familly food and roof on head, but me - lie lie lie I LIE TO MYSELF.
I promise it will never hapening again, but i found ways how i can play, online or shops.
I ask for help to freinds and sister, they sed just give to wife credit card and all money and i will helps. no i found other ways any way, i was strugeling to pay rent and i must play more and more, i borrowed money from all people who i know, and i play.
in this mouth i played all my sallary - 2000£ + all my wife holliday money 300 and now my family is coming back to home and i don't know what to do - i am sceard to lost them, lost house where we rent (becouse i don't have a money to pay rent) i need go back to work and give a coullegues money... i need a live to next month...... where i can get advice?
i want finish this c**P, i want live normal live, i want be good father and nice husbend. i get appoitment to psiholog and want show i can quit beting.

i see no one replied to your very heart felt story but i for one have understood it and can relate to it , its very sad how it started well and now spiraled out of control to the level of pure desperation ,
how are you today mate? please get back in touch there is a lot of help here from good people with similar stories who have hit rock bottom and turned it around , you are in a bad way chasing looses and deseperation to get your money back has leaded you to a massive low , i been there mate , maybe not as bad as you but it could be i have a gf and baby and been risking money which for family use and debts . i reckon to start with ring the above number and ask for private counselling and i feel you must be honest with your wife , its not going be easy they gonna be a lot of arguing , fighting and hurt ,
money makes world go around you just blew a lot , and normal people don,t understanf only a problem gambler knows how bad it can be
keep posting on here , you gonna need to draw a line under it , admit its beat you and start to put barriers in palce and your income protected nad then keep a small living budget for you and rest of money locked away , not yours and you can,t be trusted yet , the demons will still be there , you have to take day 1 serious make it to day 5 yur doing great , come one we humans we make mistakes but got heart to recovery
