I am sat here about day ten of not gambling ( I choose not to count) legs shaking wanting to gamble so bad
i did 3 weeks before did well. Well now game on not letting this take over my life!
I put Gamstop on every email I ever known to have or use I know there is ways round it but I am choosing not doing it! I am choosing to come on here, Look for support, pick my self help gambling books up and crack this horrible life that’s taken over us!
I don’t like to think of it as a disease as I arnt going to die tomorrow or the day after! I like to think it’s got a little grip on me I need to bust out of stay calm and work out how to get out of this!Â

I am ten days in this time and already feel a million times better again like when I did the 3 week! I have always gambled but lock down got me on hold of me I could of bought 5 tag watches this year alone just this year! I have two babies and there worth more than seeing there mamma stressed worring how she will buy her next can of beans. I give my mum all my money every month now and when I have gambled in the last few months it’s cos I have asked for £20 for take away or £20 to take kids out and kept some wages back! I have not spent grands like before so I say I did 3 week clean before but two months I have only spent £700 the first 3 months of the year about 10 grand, before I staring working properly on my self! Last year 2020 I dread to even think what I spent I can’t face it I choose to blank that out! This is me and me now! Hating yesterday isn’t going to help today!Â
it’s only you that can stop you I am miles away I know that! I itch and want to every day but now I can’t get on nothing it helps gamstop helps! Get it on your emails addresses everything!  When I feel like creating a new life to make another account I come on here. I call up! Don’t be alone! We are not alone! These horrible company’s get us in every single way they can let us beat them for a changeÂ

Needtogiveup: a lot of pain but determination in your post, your journey seems to be going in the right direction by not being alone and calling up and having a family member mange you’re money. I have to admit I have the same shield in a sense and it works it holds me to account to my money to a degree.
I can really feel the vibes in this post and keep on fighting you are not alone!!!
just for today I will not gamble!
