my name is lee and i have been gambling since the age of 14 i'm now 33. I started off as all kids do on tuppence machines spending a little of my pocket money. It then escalated to fruit machines at the age of 21 i suffered with this for 7 yrs until i finally kicked the habit, i havent put a penny in the fruit machines since then. But true to form i am addicted again, not too fruit machines but online poker now. i've been playing for 3 yrs and spent my savings i had plus any money i get given or i get monthly i spend on this.
can u please please help.

Hi lee, i am new at the site and i have same problems as yours, first of all u r not alone..u made a right decision to come here like me, I have been addicted to roulette machines and many others, i am not going to spend any penny anymore for any type of gambling.today i closed my all online accounts and i advise u same, then started to gym.. We need to keep ourself occupied and see hoe other people living .. Start believing yourself mate..only thing we need to do is not gamble with our lives.. Lets have the journey together..i know time flies so we need be better then now everyday we dont play.. Tace care

Fair play to you mate for coming on here and posting as you have.
You have stopped before when you stopped playing the fruit machines, so in some way you almost have a slight advantage this time as you know what it takes to stop your addiction.
However, I guess that doesn't make it easy as such and it will still take a lot of effort this time around for you to stop playing poker.
Get the blocking software in place and make the effort to stop playing and you will only feel much better for it.
Hi lee, for 13 years i played on and off and believe me it effected my life badly as i lost too much money. Now instead having my own home i am still renting a flat due to gambling. I am going to beat the devil inside me this time and wont spend any penny. One day at a time and i am focusing on other things in this life like , going to gym and spend time with my normal friends.. I sm tired loosing and i am sure u r too..the worst thing about gambling u know u can win because it allows u to win some period but then it takes again all your winnigs and more.. We can not truely win lee unless we stop.. I hope we can tell better stories in time..since yesterday morning i am gamble free person and hopefully it will be more days months and years, i wish u same m8..take care
