My name is craig, 24 from newcastle. I got my self into real bad debt due to football betting online and through the bookmakers. I never thought i could be so strong in my life. I go to GA meetings when i can, and have recently recieved my 90 day pen. I think i am currently up to 130 days. I have full support from friends and family. I am living a better life, i sleep better dont think about it hardly now. I spend more time with my daughter and girlfriend. You dont realise at the time because your in the "gambling zone" but you see how much coverage gambling gets. The new ********* life advert is a disgrace and i have complained. One of my loans is paid off august 2014, my debt management plan feb 2015, another loan august 2015. Seems like an age away but once these are gone i can then pay off my overdraft and credit card. I feel i am in control now, and even though ive had to do something bad to achieve something good its the best achievement in my life. Ive got more to lose in my life than if i was to win a bet. Im still young so in a couple of years once im debt free i can start a fresh life from scratch.

That's a great post to read, glad you are seeing yourself as taking control of your life. It seems like mission impossible to be like that when your in that evil gambling zone.
I hate the amount of coverage these online gambling sites are taking over the media, you see plenty of happy people winning big and having a fab night in gambling away on their computer as if it were as normal as going to the pub with friend, but nothing about the risks of gambling addiction.
It drives me nuts when I see them because I cant help but think about those poor sods who give it a go and find themselves addicted and stuck in the gambling industry longer that then planned too.
