Hi,
I am 20 and I have had quite impulsive gambling binges since I was 17 but lately it's gotten so much worse. I seem to bet everyday and just big bets no small ones. [£100+] and it honestly gives me such a buzz that some of you probably know. I am currently up on my money and I just want to stop but im finding it so difficult. I'm currently doing one big bet a day but I seem to be winning them on the roullette, but I know if I lose i'll be chasing them losses. I have lost thousands over the years but I decided to try and get help before it's all gone, and also whilst im up on my money.

Hi zlime.
You will get plenty of help on here but you need to be ready to stop and not just stop losing.
Its interesting that I had to get to the end of what you wrote to see" Have lost thousands over the years"
I knew that was coming and it really should have been line one.
You will need to be ready to self exclude now. Phone gamcare, visit the doctor for a chat and keep using the forum.
"currently up on my money" are all delusions of an addict. Its a mugs game zlime and if you want any life and any money you need to stop now. Nobody would go to work if gambling was in our favour!
You do need help and plenty of people will give you help. Can you talk to someone close?
Im going to be deadly frank because you need to hear the truth. Writing one paragraph is just the start of it. A good start but just the start. I see plenty of people who then go silent as it appears they cant handle the truth and werent ready. I was one of them becuse it took me 10 months do do something proper about it after joining the forum.
Dont let that be you. You know its a losers game and you have developed an addiction or illness which relies on mind control
You can stop when you are ready to open up, reach out, seek help and act quickly on the advice
I wish you all the best
