First day back at work today since the Christmas period, really struggling with the guilt I have endured recently and it seems to have really hit me hard today.
Had a pretty horrible time over Christmas time in terms of gambling.
I posted on here yesterday and joined in some of the live chat sessions where other members were very helpful and supportive.
I also spoke yesterday with one of the Gamcare advisors for around half an hour, I found it difficult but helpful to speak of all my underlying feelings, how I was sick to death of gambling constantly and the consequences of it.
I have accumulated debt as a result of my problem gambling, over a period of time it is managable but to me still doesn't make things easier.
One day at a time is all i'm looking at right now to try and get back and lead a normal life.

Try to stay upbeat Jamie , have you considered self exclusion from the bookies , this is a huge start on your road to recovery
