Hi everyone Johnny here againÂ
After several unsuccessful attempts to stop gambling using GAMBAN, GAMSTOP, giving my bank cards away, blocking software on my banks etc etc tried literally everything, but I still had an urges to gamble either after 3 or 4 days or few weeks or few month at the time I always came back to gambling.Â
I found a way how to stop finally. My brain doesn't literally have to tackle gambling thoughts at all anymore and I believe that would work for anyone who has gambling problemÂ
Us pathological gamblers have issues with self esteem, anxiety, depression, social anxiety, ADHD, you name it I know many of you maybe all of you would agree
I spoke to my GP and was prescribed an antidepressant
Since I started being on it I no longer gamble, it was a life saver for me, no side effects and I don't have no more gambling urges or thoughts at all.Â
Absolute life saver
Thanks for sharing johhnyuk,
Well done for talking with your GP. It is great to hear that the medical support has had a beneficial impact on your recovery too.
Congratulations on your progress.
Take care,
Adam.
