Third Month GF - Milestone Update

Hi Guys,

I’m 3 days behind posting but I can finally say it! I can finally say I’ve hit 90 days GF!

I never thought this would have been possible. Now I don’t make time for gambling - it’s amazing how much time I actually don’t have. I try and read stories on here as much as possible, post whenever I can (hence 3 days late). The thing that keeps me going is the thoughts and feelings of when I finally hit 1 year, or 2 years or 5 years! I have to keep thinking ahead and look back when I need a reality check or to try and help/support others.

I’m working on a lot of things still, I don’t want every milestone update to be “yep.. another month down but still in debt, blah blah”. Although that’s true, and will be for a long time I do need to cut myself some slack because 3 months ago I had no progress at all.

Work is quite demanding, it keeps me busy a lot of the time. I am really tough on myself and quite critical of my life and where I want to be.

I guess I want it all now, I want the freedom I’m working so hard for, in all aspects of my life. My determination I once had for ‘winning’ all my money back has changed.. my determination is now wanting to punch this gambling demon in the face by quitting and showing it who’s boss! 🙂 haha.

Thoughts that cross my mind are:

‘I will never remember that amazing win I had when I’m lying on my death bed’

‘I can’t wait to start a new year completely gamble free’ - sounds weird me banging on about New Years and all in August! I just want to be able to say “I’ve not gambled this year”.

‘180 days GF on 21st November - I’m coming for you’
