It was a good and brave thing to tell your Mum again. It is hard to do this on your own and you need her support all the way. She also needs to know what you are doing so she can help you. Really glad you have allowed her to check your spending - that will be a great help to you and a deterrent for the gambling. By doing all of this you will also be helping your Mum not to worry about you so much. Giving yourself a goal like treating Mum at Xmas is a lovely idea and will give you something else to think of and plan for.
