2014 Challenge

Hi all

Checking in at 19 days. I wasn't missing in action just under cover. I have been so busy this week. I was thinking about you all though and as soon as I get the chance I will read all the posts I have missed and update the Princess diary.

Still gamble free and haven't really thought about it (except when the adverts come on the TV) so that is a good sign.

I am just about to start making some party food for my grand-daughters 3rd birthday party today which is something I wouldn't have dreamed of doing before so life is beginning to look good again.

Morning everyone, checking in on 212 gamble free days. Like you Mr B I have been snowed under at work so not much activity on the forum this week. Next weeks question could possibly gauge what type of gambling people on here participated in? Maybe the most popular vice that we wasted our well earned money on, be it, Slots, Casinos, Horses etc?

Fitzy checking in, sorry not been on more regular. No gambling to report still since joined this thread /group.

I've been so busy with work and various other comittments, I've literally not given gambling a thought.

I'll never be complacent.

Hey guys checking in later than I usually would. Been busy this week keeping up with the latest fiasco here in Ireland "the cancellation of 5 garth brooks concerts" I'm 1 of the 400000 people who gave tickets for them

Checking in on Day 67. Another week has flown in. It raining cats and dogs in Belfast but at least it is a holiday weekend. Keep the faith people!

Work week from hell which has involved me travelling the length and breadth of the country twice. The stress and boredom of travelling means I have thought about gambling rather more than I would like. It has been a tough week on many levels. Still here though and still fighting.

Gladsdad - many thanks for the post that meant a lot and am determined to do this now. I intend to spend a lot more time on here and hopefully try and deal with these massive urges. This is my last chance or god knows what the rest of my life will hold.

Checking in at 130 days, I have had such a busy few months with travelling and it's certainly helped! I have a few more trips already planned for the rest of the year and I'm quite fortunate that I can do this...I still have the Mrs controlling all my cards, and I continue chipping off the debt every single month, but I feel a lot better and much more comfortable. World Cup has been very difficult, but we fight on.
