checking in on day 131 still gamble free.

Thank you Mr B. for checking me in last week and a special thank you to you, Mama B. and Joanne, for your kind words, of Lou and me.

Sadly Lou's Mum wasn't strong enough anymore to fight her illness and passed away last Saturday morning at 3.30am.

It went bad with her a week ago and so I've rushed home from the Netherlands last sunday and we spend the last week day and night in the hospital but to cut a long story short, Lou's Mum is now on a better place had has not to suffer any pain anymore.

I really cant go in details anymore because it makes me crying just to think about it.

Lou's Mum was a wonderful person and I loved her to bits and I miss her so much already.

Thank you again for all your kind and supporting words and I hope you all stay strong and gamble free soldiers

Love and Respect Wolfgang

thinking of you at this hard time wolf xxx

this is me checking in on day 76. off to work extras again today but it's all money for the family pot as we're off to LEGOLAND end of august and eldest starts secondary school September.

when the kids first go back to school is when I'm expecting it to be hard for me again as I really miss them and we do stuff together in holidays etc so I've set into action plans for meeting friends for coffee, rejoining the gym etc.

stephen2105 well done on the 12 days free xx

best wishes everyone and keep strong. we can do it!!!

Hey, done really well up until yesterday afternoon. Say watching the football having a couple of beers and went online and blew what I had in the bank! Absolutely raging with myself, felt sick! I have now self excluded myself from another online casino. So starting again today and hopefully I can do better this time!

Hi guys

Would like to say congratulations to del79 on his achievement of staying bet free for a year now! Also sorry to hear of your loss wolf.

I have now attended two GA meetings since Thursday and I would recommend them too people as it's great too be able to meet people that have experienced what we have and have been bet free for 8-9 years and everything stays anonymous. That's me now 11 days without a bet

I'm on hol this week so I'll catch up properly next week. However I had to just say to WOLF how sad I was to hear your news. Much love to you and Lou. Her Mum sounded very special and the wonderful memories you both share of her can never be taken away. You are both in my prayers during this difficult time. Stay strong in your recovery love.

Life always brings a mixture of sadness and joy and it is a great joy to be able to say a huge WELL DONE to DEL today! What a great celebration and a huge milestone! You are the challenge scout and the way ahead looks good! Keep strong in your resolve - guard up! Fantastic!

Keep marching troops & I'll catch up again soon 🙂 Mama B xx

Well done to Del today!!

Day 61 for me, zero gambling. Determined to celebrate on this site like Del when I reach 365 days.

Feeling so much better & waking up refreshed instead of tired all the time due to bingo/slots.

Be good to yourselves.

Wolfgang - so sorry to read of your sad news and I hope that Lou is bearing up. Her Mum must have been a lovely person and at least you will both have some happy memories of her to sustain you both. Thinking of you.

On a happier note - THE GLORIOUS 12TH for Del79 - many congratulations on your year of sanity, freedom and peace. You are a true inspiration to all of us.

Checking in on my Day 162 with thanks to Mr B for his update on Sunday, and best wishes to all fellow Challengers.

Joanna
