7 check ins missing, still time to get checked in before I do the update, don't want to lose 7 troops this week!

Thanks for everyones kind words this week. I have to get back on track and work out why I keep making the same mistakes. I've gone a week now and I have to build on it. Thanks for your post Mr B, means a lot!

Jlawson118, Honk, New-Start, Ringerbell, wolf57, LEST-WE-FORGET and qprloc12 you are all missing and there are some real stalwarts and big hitters in that list. I was gutted last week as I slipped and we lost a huge number of troops, I want you all safely checked in. I will post the update when I am home from work tonight, so you have till 10 to check in, please get checked in!

Sorry phil for not checking in till now. I know how much work you put into this challenge and need to remember to check in earlier to make the update easier for you

if I'm being honest I rarely be on the site now. Sign of my life music being the highest it's been in a long time. I'm able to enjoy the nice weather we have ATM instead of being couped up I side in front of a computer screen.

Hope or things looking up for you again, we have all had slip ups but positive thing is how we react to them and I know you will react in the right way to yours 🙂

Challenge Update Week 16

Intro

Thanks for the kind messages I have received this week, I’ve felt pretty low and you guys have helped me sort myself out and stopped me making my mad day into a mad week/weeks! I’m also pleased I held back on the update as it’s meant we go into this week 51 troops strong. We sadly had 5 troops missing check in, but I’m glad we’ve not dropped below 50. Lets make this week a good on and get a 100% check in rate, all I need is 51 of you to find two minutes to check in before midnight this week, come on troops you can do it!

This week’s update has three really impressive milestones. For any new troops or anyone who believes this can’t be beat you just need to look at the amazing progress made by delboygolf, happy days and mrbrightside who hit bit numbers this week! Also pleased to welcome Stephen2105 back to the challenge, he’s had it hard lately but I believe he can beat this and this challenge will help him progress.

Missing Soldiers

qprloc12, LEST-WE-FORGET, wolf57, Honk and Jlawson118 all missed check in. Please get safely checked in, you are welcome back at anytime. There are some big hitters in that list who I’m sure have just got life music so high that they forgot to check in. I don’t believe you have all slipped. Get checked back in!

Update articles

I try to find an interesting report or article to put in the update each week. However a lot of the things I’ve been finding recently have been quite similar to what I have already included in the update. If anyone would like to write something to go in the weekly update then please email me on [email protected] it could be about your story, or a poem, or an article you find online or in the press. It makes the challenge more interesting if the update contains something new for us soldiers to read and it would be great if some troops could give me some ideas.

Milestones In The Coming Week

Freshman247 hits the half century next Sunday, well done on the big 50 mate!!

shep hits three months free on Friday, 91 days and still going strong, top form pal!!

ICanDoThis2015 hits the big century on Saturday. well done on 100 days clean, keep it up!!

delboygolf smashes his 400 days on Friday, what a superb achievement, proud of you!!

happy days is back from working away in time to celebrate the incredible milestone of 500 days next Sunday. Amazing stuff, well done!!

mrbrightside hits 500 days on Wednesday, an inspiration for so many people on here and so pleased to see you smashing the 500, huge congratulations!!

Once again double check that I have the correct count for you! Now for the important number, based on an average loss of 50 pounds per day whilst we gamble I am pleased to report we have saved the grand total of………………………………………..£315650……………………………………….. really pleased to have smashed through the 300 thousand barrier. Well done troops it’s a brilliant achievement!!

Summing Up

We head into the week with some big milestones ahead of us and an impressive number of troops checked in. April will be gone soon and we head into the summer, a summer which if we remain gamble free can be a memorable and positive one for all of us. Trips to the bookies, casino, online gambling and bingo can be replaced with family days out, nights out with friends, day trips, holidays etc…… The opportunities for us are endless, all we have to do is make that daily choice not to gamble. Keep up the good work troops!!

Phil
