Breakdowntime 75 – Welcome Mary.
No problem 4 – Welcome to the challenge.
Soldiers that have departed this week.
Many inspirational people on the list and I’ve left their last days counts. Thanks again to bornagain who started the 2015 challenge (Phil) and not forgetting mrbrightside (last year’s challenge) who also decided to exit the forum in light of recent events.
We wish you all well and any who have simply forgotten to check in, please do return this week. Anyone who would like to return, simply check back in this week and re-join the challenge and hopefully we can gain strength in numbers.

It's been a good week for many with lots of milestones reached by many of you, well done to everyone who hit personal targets. Thanks to those of you who welcomed our new members too. As I said last Sunday, I am happy to do the days count/roll of honour each Sunday but I do not wish to run the challenge as such, with sole responsibility for welcoming new troops and replying to posts from new members. I think that if as a team, if we try to welcome/reply to posts from new members, (as some of you have done this week), that will be great and will keep the challenge running as best we can between us.
Wishing you all a successful week, winning by not gambling!

Excellent work Clare thank you, will welcome any new recruits I see during the week. Checking in early and safely this week, well done to all surviving soldiers, let's keep marching on x
Nice one Claire a lovely update and great to see this thread continue. Its very good of you to sacrifice your time to keep it all going and keep us going to. I will try to welcome others also.
Take care all and I'll add my congrats to everyone who hit there milestones recently - there's a lot of you!! Well played.
Insanity checking in - a few urges and there will be next week with the open on but I'll try and enjoy it as a spectacle instead of anything else.
Checking in 164 days gamble free.
Checking in on day 479.
Steve.

Day 395 - Checking in.
No urges to gamble lately. Stay strong everyone, it's a great team. Suzy
Hi guys.
Please accept my apologies,
delboygolf (Steve) has not left the challenge. He checked in as 479 days ... Amazing stuff and nice we still have such long standing members and people like Steve showing us it can be done !!!
Sorry Steve I have amended this weeks update.
Boxingdaysmay15
You are forgiven lol.
Checking in nice and early, no urges for a long time but still going day by day.
Thanks for the update Clare good of you to step in, I am sure all in here will appreciate and benefit from the work you have put in.
Scott
Lovely update Claire, Thanks for continuing this, and I totally agree this thread is a team effort, so everyone on here should be active through out the week, and not just give their weekly count for themselves. We must support each other, we are all in the same boat, Claire is doing fantastic on the update, but she can't be expected to do it all herself, This challenge thread is a team effort,,keep it going troops and let's all be proud of ourselves for doing so

Great update this week!!!! Yep I'm going good guns. This time I will win. Stuff has happened for me never to get caught having this horrible condition! I need to rid of it!!!!
Thanks Claire for the kind words! You are brill to take over the work here!
Welcome to Emily82 on the challenge and thanks in advance to those of you who may find the time this week to welcome any more new members. I remember Emily from when I first joined the site in December 2014 and remember how positive and motivated she was. I'm looking forward to seeing your days mount up Emily and you've done the right thing coming back to the site and joining us all on the 2015 challenge!
I've got a good feeling that you're going to do really well again. You're on day one but you have the knowledge of someone much further down the path of recovery. You've done it before, extremely successfully and you will do it again. You know the drill so well ... you already know to break that gambling triangle, temporarily taking away your access to money by passing control to someone close to you should enable you to avoid chasing your losses which we know is a massive part of our addiction.
Strength in numbers and hope you can see through the remainder of 2015 firmly back in the gamble free zone.
Boxingdaysmay15 (Clare)
Hi Clare, checking in day 14 !! the first fortnight i've gone without gambling in years, so happy, thanks for your positivity and work to keep the forum going 🙂 Have a good week everyone and keep winning by not gambling !!
Affected by gambling?
