Day 93, checking in for the week. Tomorrow's day count will be done later in the afternoon / evening as I'm away for the weekend.

Great going, do you want to join us for a weekly check in and be added to the update each week Deanyboy?

Keep going folks and keep the check ins coming.

Checking in on day 20. Sat on the sofa waiting for 3pm, then I can relax knowing I've resisted the Saturday football coupon.
Hope everyone's happy & staying strong.

Checking in on day 195 GF! Hit the 200 day mark later this week 🙂 quite proud of myself as are friends and family.

Noproblem, I too had a problem with slots on the FOBT's. Used to spend 100's at a sitting after 'just going in the bookies to put a football bet on'. I think you're putting yourself at risk of failing if you go to the bookies to put bets on. I used to use the couple quid I had left over from my football bets to play the machines.. Then I'd be at the cashpoint drawing out a couple hundred quid! Get your mrs or a mate to put them on for you if you're keen on a bet. That would be my advice anyway.

Stay strong troops

First check in on gamcare 2015 thread. Day number 7 without a bet.

This time last week I was slipping away going back to old habits watching my premier league team lose. This weekend I did the same. The Team lost I never!

Kept busy cutting the grass doing a few choirs to take my mind of things.

Few thoughts of what if I gamble this in my mind however I corrected this way of thinking quickly.

Still the battle continues however I feel great in achieving 1 week gamble free. I will make it two next week.

Checking in for the week. Staying strong. Still get bombarded with texts and emails trying to induce me to gamble! I'm fed up of these parasitic companies targeting me. Anyway hope everyone has a gamble free week.
