Quick check in during the 6 nations [sobing :(] - 290 days gf taking it one day at a time, slowly slowly geting to the point where it is just not wanted [gambling that is] despite the deluge of advertising everywhere, i have gotten to the point I feel where I was when I managed 5 years gf - not interested in wasting the cash anymore and feeding it into my other cheper hobbies and house renovations.
Great to see the year milestones reached, plus all other personal goals either reached or in sight - great going everyone, a strong team marching together will always win! [Yeah, come on England!!]

Hi checking in for another GF week...days are marching in and we'll soon be 3 months GF of 2015 challenge. How life is so different when you take a fresh approach and deal with one aspect of your life at a time and not let life's trials influence you to escape to gambling. It feels great to be in the place where I am.....online slots were my downfall after 20 years GF but this year got the positive attitude that I will not go that path again......to be honest haven't had the gambling urges that used to be with me throughout 2014 challenge .....in saying that I know I can never be complacent as its so easy to give in if urges creep in...stay strong everyone, one day at a time.

Checking in. 4 days free, been a bit crazy for me this year, money issues driving me to have that one last gamble. In a better place now so ready to carry on this challenge.
91 days clean and marching forward.
Well for those who read my diary you'll all know that I'm back on day 2. Messed up big time and I was so close to half century. Gutted with myself.
Checking in on Day 21.. Had another good week with no urges, nearly forgot to check in again. Kept myself busy with Work this week.
Payday today, first Payday Ive had in a while where I havent stupidly thrown it away, looking forward to having some cash in my pocket for other things!

Sorry to hear you slipped Change, but a big well done for getting back on here and posting. The easy way out would be to give up, but you've not so thats a good sign. Try and learn what made you slip and get the barriers back in place!

Thanks bornagain. It really means a lot when people post and feel like they have your back. I appreciate everything you do to keep the challenge going and I can only apologise for not sticking to it. U won't see another slip up from me and that's a promise. I swear I'm in it for the long haul.
Day 4 GF, really happy I didn't feel the urge to with all the fixtures yesterday. Off to Wembley today to watch Bristol City win the JPT. Should keep me occupied, I feel a lot better still a long way to go to get debt free. Hopefully I won't fall back in to the gambling when I feel there's nothing else to turn to. Day by day.

Checking in for the new week on day 328, life is soo much easier and more meaningful in every way possible when there is no gambling involved in it. It destroys us physically, mentally, emotionally, and rationally,
Every day we don't play we are winners, even when we feel negative, we can found a positive somewhere because it is really all positive when we abstain and maintain.
Stay strong and focused soldiers whether day 1 or 1001 and keep winning.
We can all do this, we are all doing this as a team in this challenge,
